Job description

Kratos Defense & Security Solutions develops and fields transformative, affordable technology, platforms, and systems for United States National Security related customers, allies, and commercial enterprises.  We proactively build trusted relationships with our peers, partners and customers, and take ownership for our actions—always striving to do the right thing. Kratos has an exciting opportunity in Orlando, FL for Mechanical Assembly Technicians with the following job responsibilities:

  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and parts lists.
  • Ability to use various hand tools, Calipers, Helicoil insertion tools, Clecos, combination squares, Drills, Taps, safety wire pliers, ratchets, combination wrenches.
  • Ability to assemble moderately complex electromechanical assemblies.
  • Light fabrication for prototyping.
  • Machine experience such as Shear, Press Brake, Manual Milling Machine, or Lathe
  • Pipe Bending

  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and parts lists.
  • Ability to use Hand Tools, Calipers and Insertion Tools
  • Ability to assemble and install metal subassemblies into larger assemblies
  • To work at this facility, you must be a US Person

Preferred Skills and Experience

  • 2+ years of mechanical experience
