Job Summary:
InterSources Inc is an Award-Winning Global Software Consultancy that provides innovative solutions for Digital Transformations. The Java + Kotlin Engineer will develop, maintain, and enhance software applications, working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure high performance and scalability.
Responsibilities:
• Design, develop, and maintain high-quality software applications using Java and Kotlin.
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other engineers to define, implement, and deliver new features.
• Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following best practices and coding standards.
• Perform code reviews, identify potential issues, and provide constructive feedback to team members.
• Troubleshoot and debug issues, ensuring optimal performance and responsiveness of applications.
• Participate in agile development processes, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
• Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends, and apply this knowledge to enhance our products.
• Contribute to the improvement of development processes and tools.
Qualifications:
Required:
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Software Engineer with expertise in Java and Kotlin.
• Strong understanding of object-oriented programming principles and design patterns.
• Experience with RESTful APIs, microservices architecture, and server-side development.
• Proficiency in using development tools and version control systems (e.g., Git, IntelliJ IDEA).
• Familiarity with front-end technologies (e.g., HTML, CSS).
