The Department of Astronomy within the College of Arts and Sciences at The Ohio State University seeks a Research Technician 1 to refactor the stellar radiative transfer code Korg from Julia to Python and to add additional capabilities, such as the ability to handle isotopes, to Korg.

The College of Arts and Sciences is the largest college and the academic heart of the university. The College hosts 81 majors. The pay range for this job profile is $15.15 - $19.79/ hour. The offer for this position will fall within this range based on internal equity, unit's available budget, and the candidate's qualifications.
