To assist the Spa Director with the daily overall operation of the Omni Nashville's Mokara Spa. Responsible to coordinate and supervise spa staff, i.e massage therapists, estheticians, nail technicians, attendants and front desk schedulers.
Responsibilities:
  • Consistently provide the highest possible standard of guest service, creating a sensory journey for guests helping them to rest, and regain a sense of balance and harmony in their lives.
  • Ability to deliver Omni Standards of service to hotel guests while maintaining the Four-Diamond appearance.
  • Ensure the Fitness Center is maintained and set to Omni standard.
  • Assist with monitoring Provider schedules daily. Make changes contingent on business demands with Spa Director approval.
  • Ensure all guest challenges have been resolved in a timely manner and the Director is made aware of the situation.
  • Work with the Director to communicate Spa goals, policies, and procedures to the team.
  • Able to perform projects delegated by Spa Director.
  • Able to book/confirm appointments, greet guests, provide tours, offer beverages, and check guests in and out.
  • Motivate the Concierge and Providers to up-sell, cross-sell, and pre-sell services/products by creating incentives to increase revenue sales.
  • Ability to diligently perform Inventory at the end of each month.
  • Ensure Mokara Spa social media and marketing are maintained.

Qualifications:
  • 2 years Spa experience working in a customer orientated environment, previously leadership experience preferred.
  • Efficiency with social media for marketing purposes.
  • Reading, writing, and oral proficiency in the English language required, must be able to communicate with guests and staff professionally and with empathy.
  • Commitment to exceeding the expectations of customers, always operating with a strong attention to detail to the client's needs.
  • Ability to handle stressful situations, while maintaining a calm and welcoming demeanor.
  • Attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
  • Maintain a professional business appearance, attitude, and performance.
  • Must be able to work a variety of shifts including weekends, evenings, and holidays.
  • Ability to obtain a State of Tennessee Alcoholic Beverage Commission server permit prior to date of hire.
  • Move, bend, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing up to 40 pounds without assistance.
  • Stand, walk or sit for an extended period or for an entire work shift.
  • Requires repetitive motion, including utilizing telephone/computer for an extended period or for an entire shift.
  • Desktop computer (Opera, Spa Soft, Oracle, Synergy, Kronos and Microsoft Office), printer, telephone, copier, fax machine and scanner.
