Job description

Summary

The purpose of this position is to provide exceptional customer service while actively converting inquiries into booked business for Go Mini’s portable storage. This role answers inbound calls, quotes rates, builds customer confidence, and guides prospects through the decision process to secure bookings. Responsibilities also include billing, A/R and collections, outbound follow-up, and proactive business development.

*This is a remote opportunity - MST/CST Preferred but not required - Role may need candidate to accommodate MST hours if located outside that area.*

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. (Other duties may be assigned)

• Use consultative sales techniques to understand customer needs and recommend the best storage solution.

• Confidently overcome pricing objections and communicate value to convert inquiries into bookings.

• Follow structured sales conversation flow to improve conversion rates.

• Identify opportunities to upsell larger units, longer rental durations, or additional services when appropriate.

• Professionally answer calls within 2-3 rings inquiring about Go Mini’s portable storage containers

• Communication with customers can also include texts and emails in addition to the Ring Central phone line’s

• Add new customer contact information, send contract and email credit card link for retail customers

• Add business customers accounts into GM1 including contact information, discuss billing preferences and terms and establish contract for initial delivery.

• Schedule delivery and pick up, discuss drop off and pick up rates and any mileage charges. Confirm with customer location of unit and any access requirements for placement of unit, direction of doors and any special needs for units sold in GM1 System.

• Provide administrative support for location managers & drivers for converted leads into our GM1 systems for operations and growth.

• Initiate outbound calls to leads created by customers online to request quotes, answer any additional questions and convert lead to a sale.

Daily/weekly/monthly billing for Retail and business customers, per terms of the service contract.

• Call and update in GM1 for any failed credit card notices, call customer and manage the process until completed. Escalate to manager any retail customer that goes beyond one week and any business customer beyond 45th day.

• Account Receivables to delinquency

• Assist on Excel spreadsheets and pull and organize data (special projects)

• Assist with account changes in GM1 Customer Maintenance, Shopping other providers, new unit inventory, unit repair process and other needs as assigned.

Compensation & Benefits

$17/hour

40hrs/week (2 paid 15 minute breaks and 30 minutes unpaid for lunch)

Hours: 8:30am - 5p
