Join a Global Airline Catering Team

We're seeking an experienced Korean Specialty Cook to prepare authentic Korean cuisine for one of the world's leading international airlines. This is a high-volume production cooking role requiring strong knowledge of traditional Korean recipes, ingredients, flavors, and cooking techniques.

This is not an entry-level position. Candidates must be able to consistently produce authentic Korean dishes in a fast-paced commercial kitchen while maintaining exceptional quality, food safety, and production standards.

What You'll Do

  • Prepare authentic Korean dishes according to standardized recipes and customer specifications.

  • Cook large quantities of food for international airline meal service.

  • Ensure consistency in flavor, presentation, portioning, and quality.

  • Prepare proteins, vegetables, rice, soups, sauces, and traditional Korean menu items.

  • Follow detailed production schedules to meet flight departure deadlines.

  • Maintain strict food safety, sanitation, and HACCP standards.

  • Monitor and record food temperatures and complete required production documentation.

  • Properly store and handle ingredients to maintain freshness and quality.

  • Work collaboratively with the production team in a fast-paced kitchen environment.

  • Help minimize food waste and maintain a clean, organized workstation.

Qualifications

Required

  • 2-3+ years of professional cooking experience in a fast-paced commercial kitchen

  • Hands-on experience preparing authentic Korean cuisine

  • Strong knowledge of traditional Korean ingredients, flavors, and cooking techniques

  • Experience following standardized recipes while maintaining consistency

  • Ability to work efficiently in a high-volume production environment

  • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices

  • Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive kitchen tasks

Preferred

  • Culinary degree or formal culinary training

  • Airline catering or institutional food production experience

  • Experience preparing meals for international customers

  • Ability to read, write, or speak Korean

Schedule

Candidates must have open availability to work any assigned shift, including weekends and holidays.

Current production shifts include:

  • 5:00 AM - 1:30 PM

  • 2:00 PM - 10:30 PM

Shift assignments are based on operational needs and may change. Employees receive two consecutive days off each week.
