Blue Bottle Coffee Korea is looking for a passionate and experienced Finance Specialist to join our Korea Finance team. This role requires a strong passion for financial data, solid organizational skills, and the ability to manage day-to-day accounting and treasury operations with accuracy and discipline. As a Finance Specialist, you will play a key role in ensuring timely and accurate financial operations while supporting the company's sustainable growth in Korea.

This position will be based in Seoul, Korea, and report to the Finance Manager, Korea.

You will
  • Handle accounting activities across multiple channels, including revenue recognition, cost accounting, and expense management
  • Prepare and process bank payments and perform weekly bank reconciliations
  • Support monthly, quarterly, and year-end closing in compliance with group standards
  • Oversee vendor management and related payment processes
  • Upload, review, and maintain sales transactions in the ERP system
  • Conduct monthly cafe expense closing and related reconciliations
  • Perform balance sheet reconciliations and analyze variances 
  • Perform Concur expense management and ensure compliance with company policies
  • Support tax filing, VAT reconciliation, and statutory reporting
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to ensure the accuracy of accounting records 
  • Support system implementation and continuous process improvement initiatives
  • Perform ad-hoc accounting and finance analysis as required

You have
  • Bachelor's degree, preferably in finance, accounting or a related field
  • Above 3 years of overall finance experience (Treasury, Accounting and related FN projects)
  • Proficient Korean & business English level written and verbal
  • Experience with Workday Adaptive Planning, Sigma, SQL and NetSuite (Oracle) is a plus
  • Experience in the retail or F&B industry (preferred)
  • Advanced skill in Excel, PowerPoint (Google Workspace tools are a bonus)
  • A deep love and respect of delicious coffee, food and amazing guest experiences
