Job Summary
Summary: Join our team as a Concession Stand Worker and help create an outstanding game-day experience for fans at UW-Madison Badger sporting events. In this fast-paced, high-energy role, you will provide excellent customer service, process transactions, prepare food and beverages, and uphold strict sanitation and safety standards-all while contributing to a fun and energetic atmosphere. Anticipated start date in June. 

Key Responsibilities:
  • Process sales transactions efficiently and accurately, ensuring all purchases are properly recorded in the point-of-sale system.
  • Deliver friendly, professional customer service and address questions, concerns, or complaints promptly and courteously.
  • Prepare and serve food and beverages in accordance with quality, safety, and presentation standards.
  • Restock food, beverages, and condiments as needed while maintaining a clean, organized concession stand.
  • Adhere to all food safety, sanitation, and health regulations, including ServSafe and alcohol service requirements.
  • Maintain accurate inventory levels and follow established inventory control procedures throughout events.
  • Serve alcohol responsibly in compliance with Responsible Alcohol Service guidelines.
  • Assist with additional tasks as assigned to ensure smooth and efficient event operations.
Qualifications
  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • Willingness to obtain Responsible Alcohol ServSafe certification & Food Handler's ServSafe if not currently certified.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods during events.
  • Ability to lift and carry 25-45 pounds for stocking and setup.
  • Must be available to work all UW-Madison football games and the majority of events at the Kohl Center Arena.
