System Software Programmer (KOFAX exp) Location: Columbia, SC Hybrid (2-3 days in office, 2-3 days remote). Interview Process: 1 round, Virtual/Online Duration: 12 Months Employment Type: Contract Experience Required: 08+ Years Candidate Location: Candidate must be a CURRENT SC resident. No relocation allowed.

Project Scope: The Department of Social Services (DSS) is seeking an experienced System Software Programmer to support the Child Support Enforcement System (CSES) and Family Court Case Management System (FCCMS). The selected consultant will assist with maintenance, operations, enhancements, troubleshooting, and enterprise-scale application development for statewide case management systems. The ideal candidate will possess strong expertise in Microsoft .NET technologies, SQL Server, enterprise application architecture, imaging/document management integrations, and technical leadership

Key Responsibilities: Technical Development & Leadership Design, develop, implement, and maintain enterprise-level web applications using Microsoft .NET technologies. Lead technical initiatives and provide mentorship to development team members. Analyze existing system designs and source code to identify improvements and optimization opportunities

Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues in collaboration with internal teams and third-party vendors. Participate in architecture discussions and recommend technical solutions. Application Development Develop visual interfaces, application logic, web services, and database components.

Build and deploy scalable web-based applications using: C# ASP.NET ASP.NET MVC WCF Entity Framework MS SQL Server Design and implement secure N-tier application architectures. Develop and maintain SQL scripts, stored procedures, reports, and database integrations. Imaging & Document Management Support implementation and integration of Imaging, Document Management, and Data Capture systems

Work with counties and third-party imaging vendors to determine optimal imaging solutions. Support integrations involving document capture and case management workflows. Testing & Deployment Perform unit testing, integration testing, and deployment activities.

Participate in integrated testing sessions across test and production environments. Support build management, source code management, and deployment processes using TFS. Collaboration & Support Collaborate with technical teams, business users, counties, and stakeholders.

Support management of repositories, build systems, and technical infrastructure. Communicate technical solutions effectively to technical and non-technical audiences. Required Skills & Experience: 7+ years of experience designing and implementing medium to large-scale software systems using Microsoft .NET architecture 7+ years of experience developing data-driven applications utilizing SQL 5+ years of experience building and deploying scalable web-based applications using N-tier architectures 5+ years of experience implementing and integrating: Imaging Systems Document Management Systems Data Capture Systems Strong experience with: C#, ASP.NET, ASP.NET MVC, .NET Framework, WCF, JavaScript, Entity Framework 6, SQL Server, Experience with source control and deployment tools Preferred Skills: Experience with Family Court Case Management application development Experience using KOFAX products Experience with Performance, Security, and Testing processes Experience working in Agile development environments Education: Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field OR equivalent work experience
