Job Summary

At Koala Insulation of Mercer & Middlesex Counties, we are looking for an experienced, driven individual with a background in sales to estimate insulation projects with the goal of a one visit close. The ideal candidate will have a background in consultative sales and will work with customers to sell the insulation services that best fit their needs.

Duties/Responsibilities

1. Lead generation and data input into CRM.

2. Travels to residential, commercial, and government sites within territory to complete the estimation process for our insulation services. Territories include from Trenton, Ewing, Robbinsville, Hamilton, East Windsor, West Windsor, Cranbury, Monroe, South Brunswick, North Brunswick, New Brunswick and the small towns in-between.

3. Use product samples, support, and technology to assist you in closing the sale.

4. Networking to build contractor relationships within territory.

5. Performs other related duties as required.

Required Skills/Abilities

1. Ability to interpret blueprints is preferred, but not required.

2. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

3. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

4. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or similar software.

5. Experience using a CRM preferred.

Education and Experience:

  • Prior Consultative Sales experience required.
  • High school diploma/GED required.
  • Bachelorโ€™s degree in Business Management, Marketing, or related field is a plus, but not required.

Physical Requirements (This is not required everyday but maybe needed occasionally to support the team):

  • Prolonged periods of walking, standing, crouching, and maneuvering through attics and crawlspaces.
  • Must be able to access and navigate the jobsite.
  • Jobsite environment may be subject to high temperatures, confined spaces, and heights.
  • Must be able to lift 50 pounds.
