Responsibilities

Empower AI: As a Transition Knowledge Transfer Manager, responsible for designing and implementing strategies to capture, organize, and disseminate critical organizational knowledge across teams, ensuring that valuable expertise is readily accessible to employees, promoting collaboration, and driving continuous learning within the program by facilitating effective knowledge sharing between experienced staff and new hires or those transitioning roles. Also responsible to develop and manage knowledge management systems, monitor knowledge transfer effectiveness, and foster a culture of knowledge exchange.

Highlights of Responsibilities:

  • Identify key knowledge areas, identify subject matter experts, and create structured plans to transfer knowledge to designated recipients
  • Utilize various methods to capture critical knowledge, such as documenting processes, creating training materials, conducting interviews with experts, and leveraging knowledge management systems
  • Maintain and update a centralized knowledge base, ensuring information is readily accessible, organized, and accurate
  • Design and deliver training sessions to equip employees with the necessary skills to effectively transfer and utilize knowledge
  • Encourage peer-to-peer knowledge sharing by facilitating mentorship programs and cross-functional collaboration initiatives
  • Track and analyze key metrics to assess the impact of knowledge transfer initiatives and identify areas for improvement
  • Promote a culture where employees are encouraged to actively share their expertise and learn from others
  • Evaluate and implement new tools and platforms to enhance knowledge capture, storage, and retrieval
Qualifications

 

Minimum Requirements:

  • Secret security clearance
  • Bachelor's degree
  • 7-12 years of management experience
  • Knowledge in Microsoft Office tools, including Word, Excel, Teams, Project, and PowerPoint.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Information Technology Information Library (ITIL) Foundation certification or higher
  • Project Management Institute (PMI) Project Management Professional (PMP) or Program Management Professional (PgMP) certified
  • DoD Cyber Workforce Framework (DCWF) IT Project Manager qualified (DCWF 802)
  • GSEC or Security+ certified, or higher
  • Experience supporting Army Information Technology programs

Physical Requirements:

  • Sitting for long periods

  • Ambulate throughout an office
  • Ambulate between several buildings
  • Stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl as required
  • Travel by land or air transportation 10% or less
