Burn Boot Camp DMV is looking for a high-performing, high-energy Operations Manager to lead daily gym operations, drive team performance, and uphold the elite Burn standard at Burn Boot Camp Edgewater and Burn Boot Camp Manassas This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, loves people, and knows how to keep a team aligned, accountable, and fired up. 

About the Role

The Operations Manager oversees everything that makes Burn Boot Camp run at an elite level: Member experience, staff leadership, sales processes, retention, cleanliness, scheduling, inventory, and consistent execution of the Blue Carpet Experience (BCE). You’ll support Trainers, Burn Ambassadors, and Childwatch to ensure every camp hits the standard and every member feels supported.

This is a hands-on leadership role; you will be on the floor, coaching your team, resolving issues in real time, and ensuring the gym operates with excellence.

 Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and hold Trainers, Ambassadors, and Childwatch staff accountable. 
  • Conduct weekly meetings, give performance feedback, and develop staff skills. 
  • Ensure all Burn standards and policies are consistently followed. 
  • Manage scheduling, coverage, cleanliness, and facility presentation. 
  • Oversee retail inventory, nutrition sales, and product launches. 
  • Maintain accuracy in LoopSpark and MindBody. 
  • Complete all trial, member, and follow-up tasks daily. 
  • Support BURN & CAMP sales efforts. 
  • Drive member retention, trial conversion, and customer service. 
  • Ensure proper handoffs, onboarding, and follow-ups. 
  • Collaborate on marketing, events, and outreach. 
  • Review KPIs and P&L with Franchise Partner. 
  • Identify issues and implement solutions. 
  • Ensure compliance with operational playbooks. 

Qualifications

  • 2+ years in operations management, fitness management, retail management, or similar
  • Experience managing teams and driving performance
  • Strong communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
  • Detail-oriented with excellent organization
  • Comfortable learning and managing software systems
  • Social-media savvy and comfortable supporting content creation
  • Positive, motivating, and solutions-focused mindset
  • Ability to work early mornings, evenings, and weekends as needed 

Preferred

  • Experience in boutique fitness
  • CPR/AED certified (or willing to obtain)
  • Knowledge of LoopSpark, MindBody, or CRM systems

Work Environment

This is an active role inside a fitness facility. You’ll be moving, interacting with members, supporting trainers on the floor, and ensuring the gym is running smoothly throughout the day.
