Description
We are looking for a chef / kitchen manager, with at least 5+ years' experience, to work with our team to ensure smooth operations, building team morale, ensuring proper execution of recipes, and consistently providing memorable experiences for guests through quality and exceptional hospitality. 
As a Kitchen Manager, you will be responsible for inventory, menu execution, recipe adherence, prep team efficiency, kitchen cleanliness, building team morale, working with the Operations Manager for ordering needs, and working with GM/Ownership to control labor costs and ensure profitability.  This position is hands' on with the team, and requires preparing and cooking when needed, as well as maintaining cleanliness in the kitchen area. .
Responsibilities:
- Perform weekly inventory on Mondays
- Executing the vision for the food menu program with consistency and profitability
- Staff scheduling for the kitchen, overseeing staff compliance with the same, and controlling labor costs
- Implementing and executing kitchen protocols, and holding staff accountable
- Ensuring quality, consistency, and portion control for all food-related items
- Prepare and cook meals according to established recipes and portion sizes when needed
- Seasonally creating new menu items under established protocols, and costing ingredients related to the same
- Ensure food is cooked to the appropriate temperature and meets food safety standards
- Working with other managers and following direction from management and ownership
- Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations
Experience:
- 5+ years prior experience in a similar role 
- Knowledge of food safety practices and procedures
- Familiarity with menu planning and meal preparation techniques
- Familiarity with inventory management and recipe management software
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining quality standards
