Job description

LDRM is looking for a Deputy Operations Manager to work in Williamsburg, KY. The Deputy Operations Manager (DOM) reports to the site Operations Manager (OM) and is responsible for assisting in all contract operations at Kentucky Consular Center in Williamsburg KY, to include contract service delivery; customer satisfaction; site staffing/engagement, and employee conduct, morale, and welfare. The DOM should assist the OM in providing vision, purpose, direction, and oversight for all site operations and activities related to service delivery, employee conduct, morale and welfare, and leader development. The DOM should assist in leading customer relationships and provide exemplary customer service to internal and external customers as well as proactively identifying and addressing customer needs. Additionally, the DOM would act as the OM in the event of OM absence. To join our team of outstanding professionals, apply today!
Responsibilities
  • Assist OM in management of site service delivery operations to ensure compliance with all contractual and company-directed performance, production, timeliness, and quality standards.
  • Provide exemplary customer service to internal/external/corporate customer, proactively identifying and addressing customer needs.
  • Assist in the hiring and management of a technically proficient and professionally capable staff over the life of the contract.
  • Hold one-on-one feedback sessions with Assistant Operations Managers (AOMs) also ensuring a center culture which engages leadership in one-on-one feedback sessions with direct reports.
  • Effectively work with union leadership to manage within the union site environment.
  • Generate timely, accurate, and relevant performance data to enable adequate monitoring, oversight, and performance measurement of support services.
  • Manage deliverables to completion ensuring inputs and reviews are timely/accurate.
  • Respond rapidly and effectively to changes in product line demand.
  • Conduct continuous improvement to enhance service delivery and optimize performance.
  • Identify and communicate site staffing needs for incorporation into the staffing plan.
  • Promote innovation, efficiency, and effectiveness.
  • Resolve problems with minimal disruption to contract service delivery.
  • Lead proactively to minimize probability and severity of safety-related incidents.
  • Conduct informational briefings and management reviews as required.
  • Travel in support of offsite program updates, planning, and teambuilding (< 10%).
  • Assist and enable employee growth and advancement.
  • Apply feedback, delegation, and coaching to professionally develop all staff.
  • Ensure program profitability through sound financial management.

Qualifications
  • US Citizen.
  • Must possess at least seven (7) years of management experience.
  • Must possess at least five (5) years of managing experience on a large-scale operation.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and Power Point.
  • Advanced knowledge and skills in Microsoft Excel.
  • Superior organizational skills and work ethic.
  • Excellent written and oral communication.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead large teams.
  • Must have the ability to obtain and maintain a Top-Secret level security clearance.
  • Bachelor's degree or higher in relevant field preferred.
  • Experience managing a unionized workforce preferred.
  • Experience managing a large U.S. Government contract or program preferred.
