Job Summary

The Facilities and Maintenance Manager / Fleet Manager is responsible for overseeing the maintenance, safety, and efficiency of SurePoint Ag's facilities, equipment, buildings, grounds, and vehicle fleet. This position manages preventative and corrective maintenance, supports facility operations, maintains fleet records and compliance requirements, coordinates vehicle inspections and scheduling, and ensures company assets are safe, organized, and well maintained. The role requires strong attention to detail, regulatory awareness, communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities while supporting the overall success of SurePoint Ag.

Primary Duties / Responsibilities - Facilities Operations and Maintenance

  • Preventative and corrective maintenance of SurePoint campus-wide equipment (Manufacturing Operations, office equipment and furniture)
  • Maintenance of building(s) envelope (roofing, windows, doors and door locks, exterior and interior spaces), building(s) systems (plumbing, electrical systems, lighting, fire safety systems) and building(s) exterior (landscaping and grounds maintenance, pest control, snow removal)
  • Continuous improvement and implementation of a CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System)


Primary Duties/Responsibilities for Fleet

  • Register and license all commercial and noncommercial vehicles and trailers
  • Maintain all files for all vehicles and trailers, vehicle & trailer titling transfers
  • Maintain detailed records (hard copy and electronic) of vehicle servicing and inspection. Schedule regular vehicle maintenance to ensure operational efficiency.
  • Comply with FMSCA laws and regulations.
    • Annual UCR Filing
    • Biennial FMCSA Registration
  • Conduct training with SurePoint Drivers on FMSCA Compliance
  • Schedule annual DOT Inspections for all local fleet vehicles and trailers
  • Maintain the scheduling Calendar and vehicle check out process
  • Make sure that all vehicles are cleaned regularly.
  • Manage the vehicle rental program
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

  • Maintaining a thorough understanding of applicable regulatory requirements, including but not limited to the following federal regulatory departments: DHS, DHHS, DOT, EPA, FCC, FDA, FRA, IUB, OSHA, PHSMA, PSM, TTB, as well as state guidelines.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.
