About Us

Veterans Educating Veterans (VEV) is a mission-driven company helping veterans obtain the compensation and benefits they deserve from the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA). As we expand operations to Naples, Florida, we are seeking an experienced Operations Manager to lead internal growth, build infrastructure, and help us scale while delivering exceptional service to our clients.

This is a high-impact opportunity to join our executive team as we transition to a new headquarters location and strengthen our leadership for the next stage of growth.

Position Summary

The Operations Manager will oversee Finance, HR, Legal, Marketing, IT, Intake, and Compliance. This person will be responsible for building and enforcing SOPs, improving system efficiency, ensuring legal and VA compliance, and leading the operational transition to our Naples-based headquarters.

Key Responsibilities

Operational Strategy & Systems

  • Design, implement, and manage SOPs across all departments
  • Monitor KPIs and drive internal performance improvements
  • Ensure compliance with VA guidelines and business policy

Cross-Departmental Oversight

  • Supervise Intake, HR, Finance, Legal, IT, and Marketing
  • Direct recruitment, performance management, and departmental goal setting
  • Create alignment across departments for operational success

Tech & Marketing Strategy

  • Lead CRM and workflow tools (Zoho CRM, Monday.com)
  • Oversee marketing operations to drive new client acquisition and retention
  • Improve client lifecycle and communications through automation and structure

Financial Oversight

  • Develop and manage budgets, financial planning, and cost controls
  • Track performance metrics and oversee invoicing, payroll, and reporting

Legal & Compliance

  • Ensure operational alignment with federal labor laws, VA regulations, and contract terms
  • Collaborate with Contract Legal Team to manage documentation and mitigate risks

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of senior-level operations or director-level experience
  • Proven track record of building scalable internal systems and teams
  • Experience managing Finance, HR, Marketing, Legal, IT, and/or Client Intake
  • Strong working knowledge of Zoho CRM, Monday.com, or similar tools
  • Background in marketing systems, CRM automations, or tech-based operations
  • Industry experience in VA claims, healthcare, legal, or regulated sectors preferred
  • Bachelor's degree preferred but not required
