Job Schedule: 3/12's Weekend A Shift 6a-6:30p

 

Job Description
L3Harris Technologies is seeking a dynamic Operations Management Supervisor to join our AMF-South team in Huntsville, AL. The Operations Management Supervisor leads the development and execution of activities within designated production area(s) to achieve production goals, quality standards, and cost objectives. This role prioritizes production schedules based on new product introduction, equipment efficiency, and material availability.

Essential Functions:
Lead daily team communications and facilitate daily meetings.
Conduct daily safety walks of assigned areas.
Manage job functions for each team member and program.
Develop weekly production plans.
Address issues identified during team reviews.
Approve team members' timecards.
Review operational metrics and identify opportunities for improvement.

Qualifications:
Understanding of fundamental supervisory approaches, including work scheduling, prioritization, and process execution.
Practical knowledge of technical or operational practices within the assigned discipline.
Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience; or, in lieu of a degree, a minimum of 6 years of related experience.

Preferred Additional Skills:
Demonstrated leadership abilities, including planning, organizing, coordinating, directing, and controlling activities within assigned areas.
Experience leading teams responsible for electromechanical hardware production.
Familiarity with 5S and lean manufacturing practices.
Ability and willingness to work alternate shifts and overtime as needed.
Experience with Oracle and Delmia systems.
Knowledge of mechanical assembly processes.
