Reports to: Boutique Director
Overview
Reporting to the Boutique Director, you will be responsible for overseeing all operational aspects of the boutique, ensuring efficiency, profitability, and adherence to Richemont's high standards policies and procedures. Your strategic thinking and leadership skills will be crucial in optimizing boutique performance and contributing to the overall success of the brand. Attention to detail, multitasking, accuracy and outstanding organizational skills are crucial to be successful on this role.
Primary Responsibilities
  • Leadership & Team Management:
    • Lead and manage boutique operations by partnering with the leadership and sales teams, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
    • Delegate tasks effectively, ensuring efficient workflow and optimal team performance.
    • Provide constructive feedback to team members.
    • Implement and lead training programs to enhance team skills and knowledge.
  • Inventory Management & Control:
    • Oversee all aspects of inventory management, including receiving, sending, handling, and storage of merchandise.
    • Implement and maintain accurate inventory control procedures to minimize discrepancies and losses.
    • Analyze inventory data to identify trends and optimize stock levels.
    • Manage cycle counts and physical inventories, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
  • Operational Efficiency & Compliance:
    • Develop and implement operational procedures to streamline processes and improve efficiency.
    • Ensure compliance with all Richemont policies and procedures, including security, safety, handling merchandise and loss prevention.
    • Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to identify areas for improvement.
    • Manage the boutique's budget, controlling expenses and maximizing profitability.
  • Communication & Collaboration:
    • Serve as a liaison between the boutique and corporate departments, ensuring effective communication and collaboration.
    • Communicate regularly with the Boutique Director, Sales Managers and Sales Associates on operational matters, providing guidance, policy updates and recommendations.
    • Collaborate with other boutiques to share best practices and address common challenges.
  • Customer Service & Experience:
    • Ensure that the boutique provides exceptional customer service, exceeding customer expectations.
    • Address customer complaints and resolve issues in a timely and professional manner.
    • Monitor customer feedback and implement strategies to improve the customer experience.
    • Oversee the entire client service journey optimizing the completion time for repairs and closely work with sales associates and managers to ensure compliance on repairs inventory and pick up process.
    • Manage/complete all other tasks assigned by Boutique's and/or Corporate team

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management, or a related field preferred.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in retail operations, with at least 2 years in a management or supervisory role.
  • Proven leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop a team.
  • Strong understanding of inventory management principles and best practices.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and retail management software.
  • Experience in the luxury goods industry is a plus.
  • Basic knowledge of SAP.

Physical Requirements:
  • Ability to sit and stand for extended periods of time.
  • Ability to lift up to 20lb boxes regularly.
  • Reaching to access product stored within cabinets or on shelves.
  • Bending to access product stored within cabinets.
  • Occasional need to use a ladder to reach product.
  • Unpacking and/or lifting of large boxes that contain product.
