Job description

Grow boldly with Pretium!

Are you a hands-on manufacturing leader who thrives on building high-performing teams and driving operational excellence? Join Pretium Packaging at our facility in Manchester, Pennsylvania as an on-site Operations Manager.

Seeking bilingual candidates; the ability to read, write, and speak Spanish fluently is preferred.

Pretium Packaging, founded in 1992, is a leading supplier of injection-blow molded plastic containers, known for delivering superior quality, value, and customer service. With 20 manufacturing locations across North America, we provide innovative, high-performance packaging solutions to a diverse portfolio of brand owners in the U.S. and Canada.

We are looking for an experienced Operations Manager to provide exceptional leadership in our plant. This is a high-impact leadership role where you’ll have the autonomy to improve processes, develop people, and drive measurable performance across safety, quality, delivery, and cost.

What You’ll Own

As the Operations Manager, working under an on-site Plant Manager, you will share responsibility for the overall performance of the plant, including safety, productivity, quality, financial performance, and team leadership.

You will:

  • Lead, coach, and develop the plant leadership team and frontline supervisors
  • Drive production performance to meet customer demand and shipping commitments
  • Improve productivity and efficiency through Lean manufacturing principles
  • Increase OEE through effective monitoring of equipment and labor utilization
  • Ensure compliance with OSHA, EPA, ISO, GMP, and applicable state and federal regulations
  • Help analyze production costs and implement improvements to enhance profitability
  • Evaluate and recommend equipment upgrades and capital investments
  • Partner cross-functionally to support new product launches and process improvements

This role offers meaningful influence — you’ll help shape how the plant runs today and how it performs tomorrow. We are looking for leaders who are organized, analytical, and confident making data-driven decisions — but also comfortable being visible on the plant floor.

What Success Looks Like

  • A safe, engaged, and accountable plant culture
  • Reduced scrap
  • Strong OEE and operational metrics
  • Consistent on-time delivery and quality performance
  • Continuous improvement initiatives that drive measurable results
  • A developed leadership bench and strong team morale

What You Bring

  • Associate or bachelor’s degree
  • 5+ years of leadership experience in a manufacturing environment - Experience with injection molding and packaging is preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of Lean manufacturing principles
  • Experience improving productivity, cost performance, and operational metrics
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining attention to detail
  • Strong decision-making and leadership skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel) and ERP systems

Why Join Pretium?

At Pretium Packaging, we manufacture rigid plastic containers for some of the most recognized brands in the marketplace. Our plants operate with a strong emphasis on safety, performance, and continuous improvement.

This is an opportunity to step into a leadership role where your impact will be visible, measurable, and valued. If you’re energized by continuous improvement, team development, and running a plant like it’s your own business — we want to talk with you.
