Objective: To implement, supervise, and manage press operations to ensure alignment of policies, training, responsibilities, forecasting, processes, and on-time delivery is delivered at the lowest cost through continuous improvement while meeting plant and corporation objectives and financial performance. Oversee all press operations in the facility.

What does your day look like?

  • Enforce and direct subordinates to follow all safety procedures to achieve plant goal of zero accidents. 

  • Implement and supervise manufacturing policies and training that facilitate the highest quality product with on time delivery at the lowest cost through continuous improvement activities.

  • Oversees daily/monthly production activities, responsible for achieving production targets and reporting issues to area manager which requires adjustments in manpower, processes, responsibilities and disciplinary actions.

  • Assist area manager in the development of the annual profit plan which involves defining departmental budgets, forecasting, direct labor, identifying equipment requirements, establishes quality goals and outlining continuous improvement programs.

  • Provide input and support to new product plans/programs.

  • Assist area manager to enhance the business objectives and financial performances of the Plant, Division and Corporation.

  • Additional responsibilities as required - this position is subject to change as the needs of the department change

What will you bring: Academic and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or related field of study
  • 5 to 8 Years of experience at Press Area as Salary
  • 3 to 5 years of Experience as Press Operations Manager
  • Weekend Availability (On Demand)
  • Availability after Work Hours to Support Escalations and monitor Press Results
  • Participation in a significant role on the MOS, either deploying practice, training in a tool or methodology, leading problem solving or other applied leadership experience.
