Job description

Responsibilities

Peraton seeks a Database Analyst (Knowledge Management) to support the ARCYBER G36. 

Tasks include: 

  • Work as a member of a highly skilled team of engineers and data scientists
  • Acquire data from specified locations and conduct data analysis
  • Support the development of a solid data foundation to process modeling data and perform robust analytics
  • Support use of online experimentation and other data science methodologies to achieve sustainable growth by leveraging Machine Learning (ML), natural language processing, and dynamic network analysis
  • Characterize the threat of social media narratives and messaging
Qualifications

Required:

  • Minimum of 12 years with BS/BA; Minimum of 10 years with MS/MA; Minimum of 7 years with Ph.D.  Will consider Associates+14 years or HS+16.
  • Must be familiar with basic data analysis and visualization techniques in Python
  • Must have experience using basic Python data analysis packages (pandas, matplotlib, etc.)
  • Must have experience using a notebook analytic environment like Jupyter Notebooks
  • Must hold a TS SCI clearance with the ability to obtain and maintain a Polygraph and MEAD SIP cleared for Fort Gordon, GA.
  • US Citizenship required.

Preferred:

  • IAT Level II
  • Requires experience with model development and testing as well as gathering, relating, and identifying data with variables in models.
  • Has developed reports noting various alternatives and success probability when there is no single solution.
  • Possesses an understanding of cyberspace doctrine, policies, operations, and organizations.
  • Background includes quantitative experience and/or education (e.g., mathematics, statistics, etc.).

Target Salary Range$135,000 - $216,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position. Salary is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, the scope and responsibilities of the position, the individual's experience, education, knowledge, skills, and competencies, as well as geographic location and business and contract considerations.
