KMPH FOX26 has a great opportunity for you! We have a rare opportunity for a 10 hour a week entry level editor/writer position.
 

This position is critical during our Friday Night Rivals High School Football coverage. The right candidate will coordinate sponsorship scripts and graphics from the production truck.
 

Candidate must be willing to work an 8 hour shift on Fridays during High School Football season, and a 2 hour shift the next day to edit and feed highlights back to our Sinclair corporate team. Other parts of the year, the schedule is 6:45-11:15pm on Saturday and Sunday nights. 


Qualified candidates will have:
Completed or be in their junior or senior year of college at a four-year accredited college or university
Qualified candidates should also be planning and preparing for a job in news
We are looking for highly motivated, dedicated students who are looking to get the most out of their experience

The base hourly compensation for this role is $17.50 per hour. Final compensation for this role will be determined by various factors such as a candidates' relevant work experience, skills, certifications, and geographic location. Full time positions are eligible for benefits that include participation in a retirement plan, life and disability insurance, health, dental and vision plans, flexible spending accounts, sick leave, vacation time, personal time, parental leave and employee stock purchase plan.
