We are seeking a dependable and motivated Tractor Mechanic in our Burns Harbor, IN location.

Job Duties & Responsibilities

  • Perform quality maintenance, inspections, and repairs on company trucks
  • Complete related paperwork after each job
  • Basic diagnostic and troubleshooting
  • Operate all equipment in repair center in a safe manner
  • Keep all work areas clean

Qualifications, Experience & Physical Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent and minimum of 1-year previous work-related experience preferred
  • Experience with Freightliner, Peterbilt, Carrier or Utility assets
  • AC certification preferred
  • Must be able to work well with others
  • Take direction as needed
  • Must have your own tools essential to perform the job.
  • Must be able to lift at least 50 pounds
  • Must comply with all OSHA safety rules and regulations
