Job description

Oversee the kitting process to ensure materials and components are accurately picked, staged, and delivered to production on time while maintaining inventory accuracy and supporting manufacturing schedules.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and lead kitting personnel and material handlers.
  • Ensure kits are assembled accurately and delivered to production on schedule.
  • Monitor inventory levels and coordinate material shortages with planning and purchasing teams.
  • Maintain inventory accuracy through cycle counts and audits.
  • Enforce quality standards, ESD procedures, and safety requirements.
  • Train, coach, and evaluate team members.
  • Track productivity, efficiency, and key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives such as Lean, 5S, and process optimization.
  • Coordinate with Production, Planning, Warehouse, and Quality departments.
Required Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent (Associateโ€™s degree preferred).
  • 3โ€“5+ years of manufacturing, warehouse, or materials management experience.
  • 1โ€“3+ years of supervisory or team lead experience.
  • Experience in electronics manufacturing (SMT preferred).
  • Knowledge of SAP systems and inventory control practices.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Skills
  • Understanding of electronic components and bill of materials (BOMs).
  • Experience with Lean Manufacturing, 5S, and continuous improvement.
  • Ability to analyze inventory and production data.
