Qualifications:
  • Perform expert diagnostics and repairs on commercial refrigeration and ice machines
  • Troubleshooting and repairing commercial cooking equipment like fryers, ovens, steamers, ranges, and more
  • Respond to emergency service calls and conduct routine preventative maintenance
  • Delivering outstanding service with courtesy and professionalism
  • Communicate effectively with customers, dispatchers, managers, and sales staff
  • Spot new business opportunities while servicing existing accounts
  • Maintain your service vehicle and manage parts orders
  • Complete all required paperwork and attend ongoing training
  • Take on additional responsibilities as assigned
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Requirements:
  • EPA Certification (cold side)
  • Minimum 2 years of mechanical/electrical/refrigeration experience.
  • Valid driver's license and driving record that align with our safety standards.
  • Compliance with safety procedures and regulations.
  • Flexibility for on-call shifts and overtime when necessary.
  • Excellent organizational skills and a strong work ethic.
  • Completion of a successful background check and drug screen is required.
  • Must be at least 18 years of age.

The company has grown over the years and currently employs 58 people and has 3 locations in Maine:Gray, Brewer,andSaco, and one inLaconia,New Hampshire. Pine Tree Food Equipment became a CFESA Certified company in March of 2009. We have 37 service technicians who hold various state licensing and/or certifications in gas, steam, refrigeration, and electric appliance service and installation, and have remained current in the industry by attending manufacturers' training all over the United States. In 2014, Pine Tree proudly introduced its Refrigeration Division, offering service, parts, installation, and performance maintenance on cold-side commercial equipment
