Job description

Reports to: Supervisor, Kitchen
Position Overview:
The Kitchen Technician assists in the preparation and production of cannabis infused edible products. Under limited guidance from the Manager, Kitchen, the Kitchen Technician mixes ingredients in order to manufacture cannabis infused recipes as directed, following food safety standards. The Kitchen Technician is responsible for ensuring stock and inventory goods are fresh and up-to-date and not expired.
Pay: $19.50/hour + Benefits
Schedule: 7:00am - 5:45pm, Monday - Thursday
Major Areas of Responsibility include:
• Prep ingredients and production of edible products including chocolate, gummy drops and lozenges.
• Follow daily production list to maintain stock of finished goods.
• Comply with rules and state regulations for food safety and edible production.
• Prepare samples for testing.
• Package and label edible products.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
Minimum Qualifications (Skills, Knowledge & Abilities):
• All applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
• A High School diploma or GED is required.
• Minimum of one-year kitchen/food service experience.
• ServeSafe Certification is preferred.
• Ability to organize and prioritize work.
• Strong interpersonal skills including written and verbal communication.
• Strong attention to detail, time management and problem-solving skills.
