Tigg's Canteen Services is seeking an experienced, dependable, and motivated Kitchen Manager to oversee daily food service operations at the Miami County Jail in Peru, Indiana. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with leadership skills who enjoys working in a structured environment and is committed to providing high-quality food service while leading a successful team.
As Kitchen Manager, you will play a key role in ensuring meals are prepared safely, efficiently, and in accordance with company standards. You'll supervise daily kitchen operations, support your team, and help maintain a clean, organized, and professional work environment.
Compensation & Benefits
Starting Pay: $20.00 per hour

Key Responsibilities

Requirements

  • Ability to obtain security clearance for entry into the correctional facility.
  • Availability to work weekends and holidays on a rotating schedule.
  • Flexible to work the following schedule:
    • Monday-Saturday: 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM
    • Sunday: 9:00 AM - 2:00 PM
  • Previous food service, kitchen, or supervisory experience is preferred, but we are willing to train a motivated candidate with the right attitude and leadership potential.
