Location: Union City, CA (On-site) Employment Type: Full-time / Part-time Pay Range: $18.50 – $19.50 / hour Start Date: ASAP

About US

Our Restaurant is where bold flavor meets fast-paced fun. We're serving up craveable food made fresh, that keeps our regulars coming back and turns first-timers into superfans. We're not your average kitchen — we move fast, we care about quality, and we bring the energy every single shift. If you love good food, good vibes, and being part of a team that actually has each other's backs, you're going to feel right at home here.

About the Role

We're on the hunt for Kitchen Staff to join our Union City crew and help us keep the 'drip' flowing. This is a hands-on, high-energy role for someone who thrives during the rush, takes pride in consistency, and wants to be part of a growing local brand from the ground up. You'll be prepping, cooking, and plating our signature items alongside a tight-knit team, all while keeping our kitchen clean, organized, and running like a well-oiled (and well-seasoned) machine.

Job Summary

As a member of our Kitchen Staff, you'll play a key role in bringing every one of our orders to life, from prep to plate. You'll follow our recipes and cooking standards to make sure every bite hits the same high bar, every time. You'll work closely with your teammates to keep the line moving during busy rushes without sacrificing quality or cleanliness. This role is perfect for someone who's dependable, detail-oriented, and energized by a fast-paced food environment. No prior experience? No problem! We'll train the right attitude.

  • Cook and plate menu items accurately, consistently, and efficiently
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitized kitchen station throughout each shift
  • Follow all food safety and handling guidelines
  • Monitor inventory levels and communicate low stock to a manager
  • Support opening and closing kitchen duties as scheduled
  • Work collaboratively with front-of-house and kitchen team members to keep orders accurate and on time
  • Keep up with quality and speed standards during peak rush periods
  • Follow all safety protocols when operating kitchen equipment
Required Qualifications
  • Must be 18+ years of age
  • Ability to work on-site in Union City, CA
  • Ability to stand, move, and work in a fast-paced kitchen environment for the full shift
  • Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic
  • Comfortable following recipes, portioning, and prep instructions precisely
  • Ability to work well within a team
Preferred Qualifications
  • Prior kitchen, line cook, or food prep experience
  • Food Handler's Certification (or willingness to obtain one upon hire)
  • Experience working in a high-volume or quick-service restaurant environment
Skills That Will Help You Succeed
  • Strong sense of urgency and comfort working under pressure
  • Attention to detail and consistency
  • Positive, team-first attitude
  • Good communication skills with coworkers and management
  • Willingness to learn and take feedback
  • Time-management and multitasking ability during rushes
Schedule Expectations
  • Availability may include days, evenings, weekends, and holidays based on business needs
  • Both full-time and part-time schedules available
  • Shifts typically range depending on business volume and location hours
  • Reliable attendance and punctuality are essential
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods (up to full shift length)
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50lbs (e.g., food cases, supply boxes)
  • Comfortable working near heat sources (fryers, grills, ovens)
  • Frequent bending, reaching, and repetitive hand motions
  • Ability to work in a kitchen environment with variable temperatures and noise levels
Benefits & Perks
  • Competitive hourly pay ($18.50–$19.50/hr)
  • [Employee meal discount / free shift meal]
