About the Role:
The Inn at Glen Gardner is looking for a talented and passionate Line Cook/Kitchen Prep to join our culinary team in the heart of Glen Gardner, NJ. This is a great opportunity to bring your kitchen skills to a welcoming environment where great food and hospitality come together. Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and execute menu items to order with consistency and quality standards
  • Perform daily prep work including chopping, portioning, marinating, and mise en place
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary workstation throughout each shift
  • Follow recipes, plating guides, and portion control standards
  • Assist in receiving, storing, and rotating food inventory properly
  • Collaborate with kitchen team to ensure smooth, efficient service during peak hours
  • Adhere to all food safety and health code regulations
Requirements:
  • Previous experience as a line cook, prep cook, or in a similar kitchen role preferred
  • Knowledge of basic cooking techniques, knife skills, and kitchen equipment
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure kitchen environment
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to food quality and consistency
