We are looking for Kitchen Associate - Cook, Dumpling Wrapper

Job Description

Kitchen Associate at Bafang Dumpling essentially has the responsibility to provide a positive Customer experience—ensuring all food orders are prepared to Bafang Dumpling’s standards and our customers are full & happy. Kitchen Associate at Bafang Dumpling will be assigned specifically to support our Kitchen operation, including dumpling wrapping, food prep, grill & fry, etc.

We are looking to immediately hire talented Kitchen Associate who can thrive in an upbeat and fast-paced food service environment for all shifts: opening and closing shifts and everything in between. Whether you have experience as a kitchen cook, prep cook, or any other kitchen role - we have a position for you. We offer competitive pay and benefits for all positions and provide paid training for every new Kitchen Associate on the team. Even if you don’t have previous restaurant or food industry experience, we will make sure you are prepared to grow your career with us.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THE POSITION: The physical and intellectual requirements described below are representative of what must be met by Kitchen Associate to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.   • Lift and carry, push or pull heavy objects up to 50 pounds
  • Kneel, bend, twist or stoop
  • Reach and grasp objects (including above head and below waistline)
  • Follow proper safety procedures when handling and/or preparing food
  • Ability to show up to scheduled shifts on time
  • Excellent verbal and written communication
  • Ability to multitask
  • Prior experience as Line Cook highly preferred.

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Must be 18 years of age or older
  • Provide all Customers with quick and friendly service
  • Work together as a team, supporting and assisting other Team Members
  • Work well under pressure and at a fast pace
  • Be Proactive and take initiative
  • Comply with Company policies
