About the Role

Monarch Kitchens is seeking a Kitchen Design Consultant to guide residential customers through a detailed design experience that results in the purchase of an in-house semi-custom or fully custom kitchen remodel.

Warm leads are provided by Monarch Kitchens. This role is responsible for meeting with customers in their homes, educating them about the company and services, creating kitchen layouts and design renderings, selling kitchen remodel projects, and supporting customers throughout the remodeling process.

Responsibilities
  • Meet with prospective clients in their homes at scheduled appointments to educate them about the company, services, and excellent reputation.
  • Measure existing spaces and suggest the best design layouts based on the customer's wants and needs for their kitchen.
  • Create CAD drawings and 3D renderings using the necessary tools provided for customer visualization.
  • Sell kitchen remodel projects and create contracts that include a detailed scope of work.
  • Communicate and respond directly to customers throughout the remodeling process to provide a five-star experience.
  • Consistently close sales at 35% or higher each month.
Qualifications
  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • Reliable transportation and a clean driving record.
  • Ability to successfully complete a 50-state criminal background check and random drug screening.
  • 2+ years of in-home selling experience recommended.
  • Must be able to work evenings and weekends.
  • Proficient in math and geometry.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to convey information clearly and effectively.
  • Willingness to follow a proven sales system.
  • Willingness to learn about construction and kitchen design.
  • Detail-oriented.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and 2020 Design software.
