Cabinet Installation Project Coordinator
Kitchen Tune-Up Gilbert and Chandler
Full-time | Gilbert, Chandler, Mesa, and Queen Creek
Compensation: $58,000-$68,000 annually, depending on experience
Kitchen Tune-Up Gilbert and Chandler is seeking a highly organized, detail-oriented Cabinet Installation Project Coordinator to help guide residential kitchen-remodeling projects from final measure through successful installation.
This is a hands-on coordination role for someone who understands remodeling, catches potential problems before they cause delays, and can confidently work with clients, installers, subcontractors, and suppliers. Cabinet industry experience is strongly preferred, but we will consider candidates with relevant experience in residential remodeling or construction.
What You'll Do
  • Attend cabinet measure appointments, verify measurements, identify potential installation challenges, and help develop practical solutions.
  • Review project scopes, drawings, selections, and measurements for accuracy and consistency.
  • Create detailed ordering guides for use in placing cabinet, door, hardware, and related material orders.
  • Prepare installation folders with current scopes, drawings, notes, modifications, and project-specific details.
  • Track approximately 20-25 projects through measuring, ordering, material receipt, preparation, scheduling, installation, and completion.
  • Organize and stage project materials, maintain installation-supply inventory, and identify missing items before projects begin.
  • Load and deliver materials using a company vehicle and trailer.
  • Coordinate project kickoffs, return visits, repairs, and completion work.
  • Coordinate countertop measures and installations with clients and our countertop subcontractor and attend those appointments as needed.
  • Attend installation kickoffs, review project details with installers, and assist with light demolition or jobsite work when appropriate.
  • Check in regularly with installation teams, conduct site visits, and help resolve questions or field issues.
  • Serve as a primary day-to-day contact for clients and installers during the installation phase.
  • Maintain accurate project notes, dates, and outstanding tasks in our CRM (Service Minder).

Initially, scheduling and ordering will be reviewed by company leadership. The right person will gradually assume greater responsibility for both as they learn our products, suppliers, timelines, and processes.
What We're Looking For
  • Cabinet measuring, installation, design, or project-coordination experience strongly preferred.
  • Relevant residential remodeling, finish carpentry, millwork, countertop, or construction experience may be considered.
  • Familiarity with cabinet components, hardware, fillers, panels, moldings, modifications, and common installation challenges.
  • Ability to read cabinet layouts, scopes, specifications, and installation notes.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and the ability to catch missing or conflicting information.
  • Strong organization and follow-through across numerous active projects.
  • Independent, self-motivated, and able to solve problems without constant supervision.
  • Professional communication skills with homeowners, installers, subcontractors, and team members.
  • Comfortable using Microsoft Word, Excel, and learning Service Minder.
  • Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record.
  • Comfortable learning to connect, tow, maneuver, and back a company trailer.
  • Able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds independently and assist with light jobsite work.

The Right Person
You will thrive in this position if you take ownership, think several steps ahead, communicate problems early, and care about getting the details right. We need someone who can keep multiple projects moving, remain calm when unexpected issues arise, and ensure both the client and the installation team feel supported.
Schedule and Compensation
Typical hours are approximately 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., Monday through Friday, with some flexibility based on project needs. This position includes a combination of remote administrative work, warehouse preparation, driving, and residential jobsite visits.
Compensation is $58,000-$68,000 annually, depending on directly relevant experience. Paid time off and paid holiday information will be discussed during the hiring process.
Flexible work from home options available.
Compensation: $58,000.00 - $68,000.00 per year
