Pyramid Healthcare is absolutely thrilled to announce that we are on the lookout for passionate and dedicated Kitchen Workers to become part of our fantastic Dietary Team in York, PA! Our facility is wholeheartedly committed to providing inpatient, residential treatment for adults who are courageously battling substance use disorders.

As a Kitchen Worker, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our clients receive delicious and nutritious meals in a clean and welcoming environment, making a significant impact on their overall well-being and recovery journey.

Schedule:
  • 6:00am - 2:00pm
  • 11:00am - 7:00pm
  • Weekend availability required
Hourly Rate:

$15/hour

Your Responsibilities Will Include:
  • Assisting with food preparation, including slicing, chopping, and portioning meals
  • Preparing salads and portioning desserts
  • Stocking juices, milk, and other food items as needed
  • Supporting the Lead Cook in daily meal preparation
  • Serving meals to clients and ensuring timely food service
  • Following assigned menus while adhering to sanitary guidelines
  • Maintaining cleanliness of the kitchen, serving areas, and dining areas
  • Washing dishes, pots, pans, and utensils after meals
  • Recording daily temperatures of refrigeration systems and food items
  • Accepting and properly checking in food deliveries
  • Performing additional cleaning duties as assigned, including sweeping and mopping
Qualifications:
  • ServSafe Certification (preferred)
  • Prior food service experience (preferred)
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask
  • Good personal hygiene and adherence to food safety regulations
  • Willingness to learn and attend required trainings
  • Flexible schedule and dependable attendance
