Kitchen Assistant / Dishwasher - Alto Wheaton
Wheaton, IL | Part-Time | 11:00am-7:00pm | ~2 Days/Week

Tired of closing down a restaurant at midnight? Alto Wheaton is hiring a Part-Time Kitchen Assistant / Dishwasher - and we offer everything the restaurant industry doesn't: predictable hours, a supportive team, and work that actually feels good at the end of the day.
Your Schedule:
2 days/week | 11:00am-7:00pm
Consistent, predictable, and done before bedtime - every time.
What We're Looking For:
  • At least 18 years of age
  • 6+ months of food service or kitchen experience preferred - but not required
  • Dependable, hardworking, and team-oriented
  • Strong attention to cleanliness and organization

The primary responsibility of the Kitchen Assistant is to set tables, bus tables, wash dishes, assist the Cook as needed, and complete cleaning duties.
Areas of Responsibility
  • Thoroughly wash all dishes, cookware, flatware, and utensils.
  • Properly maintain all dishwashing equipment.
  • Work as part of the Dining Services team to ensure smooth, efficient, and safe operation of the kitchen.
  • Help contribute to high-quality Dining Services operations by paying attention to food presentation and taste, and courteous responses to residents and associates during meal service.

Required Qualifications
  • Must be a minimum of 18 years of age.
