We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Dishwasher to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and sanitation standards for dishes, glassware, tableware, cooking utensils, and other kitchen equipment.


Responsibilities:

- Operate and maintain the dishwashing machine

- Wash dishes, glassware, flatware, pots, and pans using manual and automatic cleaning methods

- Ensure all dishes are cleaned and sanitized properly

- Sort and stack clean dishes and utensils

- Assist with kitchen cleaning and organization as needed

- Follow all safety and sanitation procedures

- Maintain a clean and organized work area

Requirements

General:

  • Ability to obtain food handler's certification

  • Requires personal cleanliness and the ability to follow rules and regulations for safety and sanitation in Institutional Food Service.
  • Must possess sight/hearing senses or use prosthetics that will enable these senses to function adequately so that the requirements of this position can be fully met, to include the use of supplies and equipment.
  • Must be able to move intermittently throughout the workday and be able to turn, bend, reach over head and below knees.
  • Must be in good physical health and demonstrate emotional stability.
  • Will be required to lift, push, pull and move equipment and supplies in excess of 40 lbs throughout the workday.
  • This position requires standing and walking a minimum of 90% of the total workday.
