Waterman Canyon Post Acute is seeking an experienced and dependable Dietary Aide to join our dietary services team. The ideal candidate will have previous dietary, food service, or healthcare experience and a passion for providing excellent service to our residents.

Position Summary

The Dietary Aide assists with meal preparation, food service, sanitation, and maintaining a clean and organized dietary department. This role is essential in ensuring residents receive nutritious meals in accordance with dietary guidelines and facility standards.

Responsibilities
  • Assist with meal preparation and tray assembly.
  • Deliver meals and snacks to residents in a timely manner.
  • Follow resident diet orders and special dietary restrictions.
  • Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the kitchen, dining areas, and equipment.
  • Wash dishes, utensils, and food preparation items.
  • Store food properly and adhere to food safety regulations.
  • Assist with inventory and stocking supplies as needed.
  • Provide courteous and respectful service to residents, families, and staff.
Qualifications
  • Previous dietary aide, food service, or healthcare experience required.
