Facility location: White Oak Manor York - 111 S Congress Street, York, SC 29745 - 803-684-0035  
We are a 109-bed beautiful campus with skilled nursing and rehabilitation center.

Are you ready to make a difference with your career? White Oak Manor York is looking for fill a position as Dietary Aide to join our team and make a difference in the lives of the residents we care for. Previous experience in providing dietary services in the long-term care industry is a plus but is not required. We're looking for passionate, team-oriented individuals to join our team with a goal in providing the highest quality of care and services for our residents.

The ideal candidate will possess an understanding of food preparation, food special diets, follow menu, food safe and sanitation, a positive attitude, and a commitment to quality service and cleanliness.  We're looking for a self-motivated team player who works well under pressure and is able to maintain a fast pace in our active kitchen.  In this role you help prepare a variety of daily meals, as well as maintain kitchen cleanliness and assist with inventory and other tasks as needed.

What You’ll Do♦ Assist with the preparation and service of daily meals following planned menus
♦ Prepare food in accordance with special diets and resident needs
♦ Maintain kitchen cleanliness and organization in compliance with food safety and sanitation standards
♦ Ensure proper food handling, storage, and temperature control
♦ Assist with inventory, stocking, and other kitchen-related duties as needed
♦ Work collaboratively with the dietary team in a fast-paced kitchen environment
♦ Support high standards of quality, cleanliness, and resident satisfaction

♦ Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices (or willingness to learn)

Experience: Six months experience preferably in institutional food preparation or related field.
