Job description

Description

This position is responsible for setting up machinery, lifting, packaging and filling aquarium with specified materials and completing a final inspection of the product. 

Shift Details: Monday – Thursday 5am – 3:30pm with Potential OT on Fridays

Location: Plant 1

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Set up tape machine, glue machine, and the automatic palletizer.
  • Package aquariums and lift them onto roller line.
  • Fill kit with specified components.
  • Complete a final inspection of the product.
  • Clean up work area, dispose of cardboard and garbage.
  • Prepare for next day’s production.
  • Other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred.
  • Ability to work in a fast paced team environment.
  • Ability to work in a constant state of alertness and safe manner.

WORKING CONDITIONS

  • Must be able to stand/walk for a 10-hour shift.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds with or without accommodation.
  • Plant environment with periodic visits to the office area of the plant.
  • Exposed to any number of elements, but none present to the extent of being disagreeable.
  • Noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
