Technical Product Manager

10X Health System

Scottsdale, AZ • On-site

$120K - $135K/yr

Full-time

Posted 8 days ago

Job description

BASE COMPENSATION: $120,000 - $135,000 annually
LOCATION: Scottsdale, AZ
WORKPLACE SETTING: Onsite
POSITION SUMMARY
The Technical Product Manager owns the software behind 10X Health's operational spine: pharmacy order fulfillment, at-home test kit registration, lab results delivery, order and subscription management, and the internal tools our clinical and operation teams use every day. This is a hands-on, individual-contributor role for someone equally comfortable sitting with a fulfillment coordinator to understand a manual workaround and reading an API payload to understand why it exists. This role partners closely with Commercial Operations, who own the business process and its outcomes, while owning the systems that execute them. Success is measured by manual steps eliminated, integration reliability, and how quickly new operational capability reaches the people who depend on it. This role is scoped to grow. The first year is a build year. From there the work moves into instrumenting what has been built and automating the manual steps that remain, with new operational domains added as the business expands. This role reports to the Director of Product Management.
ABOUT 10X HEALTH SYSTEM
10X Health System is a pioneering company at the forefront of the health and wellness industry, dedicated to revolutionizing the way individuals approach their personal health and well-being. With a philosophy rooted in the principle that optimal health is the foundation for a life lived to the fullest, 10X Health provides cutting-edge solutions and personalized health plans designed to empower individuals to achieve and maintain peak physical and mental performance.
The company's comprehensive approach to health combines the latest advances in medical science, nutrition, fitness, and technology to offer a suite of services that include state-of-the-art diagnostic testing, individualized treatment protocols, and ongoing support from a team of world-class health professionals. 10X Health's commitment to innovation and results has established it as a leader in the health optimization space, catering to those who strive to push the boundaries of what is possible in their health journey.
OBJECTIVES
  • Translate the operational platform roadmap into shipped systems. Own the solution design, sequencing, and delivery across pharmacy order automation, lab results ingestion, telehealth, order and fulfillment tracking, and the internal tools used by clinical and customer experience teams
  • Turn ambiguous, manually run business processes into documented, instrumented systems, replacing spreadsheets and vendor-portal workarounds with software
  • Write the specifications engineering builds from, including data contracts, state models, and testable acceptance criteria
  • Use the product the way customers and staff do. Run real flows end to end before and after every release, and find the defects automated tests miss
  • Own the health of third-party integrations across clinical records, commerce, CRM, laboratory partners, and fulfillment providers. Define what working means, monitor it, and drive resolution when it is not
  • Partner with Commercial Operations, Customer Experience, and Clinical teams to identify the highest-cost manual steps and eliminate them in priority order
  • Apply AI where it earns its place in the product, with the grounding, evaluation, and guardrails required to ship safely in a regulated health context
  • Design for compliance from the start, keeping protected health information inside approved systems and customer-facing claims within regulatory standards
  • Define and report the operational KPIs that give leadership visibility into fulfillment reliability, exception volume, and time to resolution
  • Maintain a written decision record so specifications, tickets, and design documents stay current and decisions survive the people who made them
COMPETENCIES
  • Translates ambiguous operational problems into system designs, then ships them
  • Technical fluency without an interpreter. Reads API documentation, data models, and payloads and forms an independent opinion
  • Tests products adversarially, hunting the broken edge case rather than confirming the happy path
  • Practical AI knowledge for building products, not only for personal productivity. Understands how to ground, evaluate, and guardrail an LLM feature, and how to detect when it regresses
  • Works well with senior non-technical stakeholders, converting business requests into system requirements and pushing back when a request does not survive contact with the data
  • Writes clearly and closes loops, following work through to verification rather than letting it go stale
  • Comfortable operating without dedicated design, research, or analytics support
  • Treats compliance constraints as design inputs rather than obstacles
  • A genuine passion for wellness, health, and performance optimization
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
  • 4+ years in product management, solutions engineering, technical program management, implementation, or business systems analysis, including clear ownership of a system that shipped and stayed in production
  • Demonstrated experience integrating third-party platforms by API, including ownership of the failure modes
  • Experience delivering in a regulated environment such as healthcare, diagnostics, pharmacy, financial services, or insurance. HIPAA exposure preferred
  • Hands-on experience with an AI or LLM-backed product feature, or equivalent demonstrated capability
  • Working familiarity with commerce, CRM, or fulfillment platforms such as Shopify, Salesforce, or an order management or 3PL system
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work history
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk
  • Ability to travel occasionally for team, vendor, and partner meetings
COMMITMENT TO DIVERSITY
As an equal opportunity employer committed to meeting the needs of a multigenerational and multicultural workforce, 10X Health System recognizes that a diverse staff, reflective of our community, is an integral and welcome part of a successful and ethical business. We hire local talent at all levels regardless of race, color, religion, age, national origin, gender, gender identity, sexual orientation, or disability, and actively foster inclusion in all forms both within our company and across interactions with clients, candidates, and partners. If you require any accommodations during the application process or have any questions, please contact [email protected].
NO SOLICITATION POLICY
10X Health does not accept unsolicited resumes, calls, or communications from staffing agencies or third-party recruiters. Any such submissions will be considered the sole property of 10X Health and will not obligate the company to pay any fees. Please refrain from contacting us regarding this posting.
