Position Overview
Varco Healthcare is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Quality Assurance (QA) Nurse to join our team. This role is responsible for reviewing clinical documentation completed by our field clinicians in Kinnser (WellSky) to ensure accuracy, compliance, and adherence to regulatory and company standards.
The ideal candidate has strong home health experience, understands Medicare documentation requirements, and is highly organized with excellent attention to detail.
Key Responsibilities
  • Review clinical documentation in Kinnser (WellSky) for accuracy, completeness, and compliance
  • Ensure documentation meets Medicare, state, and accreditation standards
  • Audit OASIS assessments and skilled nursing notes
  • Identify documentation deficiencies and provide constructive feedback to field clinicians
  • Collaborate with Clinical Managers to ensure timely corrections
  • Monitor trends in documentation and recommend process improvements
  • Assist in preparing for surveys and audits
  • Maintain confidentiality and HIPAA compliance at all times
Qualifications
  • Active RN or LVN license (required)
  • Minimum 2 years of home health experience (preferred)
  • Experience with Kinnser/WellSky EMR (preferred)
  • Strong knowledge of Medicare documentation guidelines
  • OASIS experience required
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong critical thinking and analytical skills
  • High attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
Preferred Qualifications
  • Previous QA or chart review experience
  • Experience preparing for state or accreditation surveys
