Job description

KidStrong Reno 299 E Plumb Ln #103, Reno, NV 89502

Are you ready to lead, inspire, and grow with a passionate team that’s all about kids, confidence, and community?
We’re not just looking for another employee — we’re looking for a standout coach who wants to make an impact!
If you love kids, thrive on performance, and are passionate about health, education, and teamwork, this may be your dream role.
WHAT IS KIDSTRONG?
At KidStrong, we help parents build stronger, smarter, more athletic kids. Our private training centers focus on the brain, physical and character development for ages walking through 11 years old. KidStrong is a science-based curriculum that is parent-focused and taught by our professional coaches!
Sounds awesome right?! We think so too.
This position definitely IS FOR YOUR if...

  • You genuinely LOVE kids
    • You light up when you're around little ones and can connect with kids from 1 to 11 years old effortlessly.
    • You’re patient, kind, and know how to manage energy and behavior in a fun, supportive way.
  • You lead, love, and serve — with grace, wisdom, and purpose— in a way that is respectful, professional, and life-giving to others.
  • You’re passionate about teaching & training — and doing it right
    • You believe in developmentally appropriate coaching that builds confidence and skill.
  • You're not just about the reps — you're about the right reps.
  • You are an excellent communicator
    • You can hold a toddler’s attention and have a great conversation with their parent after class.
  • You know how to give clear instructions, feedback, and encouragement in age-appropriate ways.
  • You perform like a pro
    • You’re high-energy, animated, and comfortable being the center of attention.
  • You use confident body language, big smiles, and positive vibes all day long.
  • You show up like a professional — every single day
    • You leave drama and personal distractions at the door.
  • You're punctual, prepared, and take your role seriously.
  • You live the healthy lifestyle you teach
    • You take care of your own nutrition, movement, and mindset so you can lead by example.
  • You're able to work in a physically intensive environment - coaches may cover multiple miles in a shift moving through class, lift and repeatedly move equipment up to 35 pounds in weight.
  • You’re a team-first player with leadership instincts
    • You’re humble, coachable, and always looking for ways to grow.
  • You’re also confident and capable of stepping up and leading when needed.
  • You thrive in a fast-paced, high-energy, kid-centered environment
    • You can switch gears quickly and stay upbeat throughout a packed day of classes and interactions.
  • You understand that working with kids is never boring — and you love that.
  • You believe in building something bigger than yourself
    • You want to be part of a mission-driven team that’s creating a strong, healthy, empowered generation.
  • You take pride in every little win — because they lead to big outcomes.

However... This position is definitely NOT for you if...
  • You’re not comfortable being silly, animated, or energetic in front of kids and parents.
  • You think “coaching” just means running a drill or giving commands.
  • You get easily frustrated, overwhelmed, or impatient with children.
  • You’re late often, show up unprepared, or bring personal issues to work.
  • You're not ready for a physically demanding job or don't like fitness.
  • You don’t take feedback well or have a “my way or the highway” attitude.
  • You prefer to work alone and don’t thrive in a team environment.
  • You struggle with consistent communication or avoid hard conversations.
  • You’re just looking for a paycheck — not a purpose.
We’re building a team of difference-makers. Leaders. Coaches. Role models.
So if you think you're a good fit, then we want to hear from you!
Apply today and let’s grow together.
