About the Role

At Care Options for Kids, we are committed to providing the highest quality of care with integrity and compassion and are seeking Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) that share our same vision. Care Options for Kids specializes in one on one hourly pediatric and adult care in the home.

Responsibilities of Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs)

  • Perform all personal care activities contained in a written assignment by the Registered Nurse (RN) which may include, but not be limited to, assisting the patient orclient with personal hygiene, ambulation, eating, dressing, shaving, andphysical transfer.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and healthy environment, which may includelight cleaning and straightening of the bathroom, straightening the sleeping andliving areas, washing the patient's or client's dishes or laundry, and such tasks to maintain cleanliness and safety for the patient or client.
  • Measuring intake and output of fluids, andmeasure temperature, pulse, respiration, or blood pressure.
  • Keep records of personal health care activities.
  • Observe appearance and gross behavioral changes in the patient or client,reporting to the Registered Nurse (RN).

Requirements forCertified Nursing Assistants (CNAs)

Education:High school diploma or GED preferred.

Experience:A minimum of 1 yearof experience in home care is preferred.

Licensure/Certification:

  • Current, valid DelawareCNA license
  • Physical within one year
  • TB Skin Test (PPD) or TB Blood Test (QF)
  • Valid Driver's license
