Job description

Looking for a fun full-time job with NO weekend hours?! Do you love working with kids?! We've got the perfect opportunity for you!!
Kids Country is seeking a flexible and caring Assistant Teacher to float between classrooms, assisting with daily activities and providing coverage for staff breaks, vacations, and absences.
This position is eligible for a sign on bonus for all eligible full-time employees.
Qualifications:
  • Must have experience in a childcare center or in the education field.
  • Must have completed 1+ year of college and/or 3 collegiate courses
  • Outgoing personality and a passion for working with children
  • Strong communication skills to effectively interact with children and families

As an Assistant Teacher, you will:
  • Float between classrooms as needed (lunch breaks, absences, vacations)
  • Help teachers with daily activities, events, and oversight
  • Encourage students to grow and learn through guided activities, events, and outings
  • Take students on field trips
  • Participate in special campus events
  • Oversee daily activities, such as science experiments, cooking class, music, games, arts and crafts, dance parties, recreational play in the gym and outdoor playgrounds, and so much more

A little bit about us:
Voted the BEST Childcare Center and BEST Preschool in Central MN in 2022, Kids Country Child Care and Learning Center is a value-guided center that cares for children ages 6 weeks through 11 years old, catering to the individual needs of each different age group by providing separate classrooms, playgrounds, and programming.
Kids Country is located on Country Manor Campus, a 25-acre healthcare campus that is primarily devoted to caring for seniors in Sartell, MN. With five age-specific classrooms, a large indoor recreational gym, outdoor play areas, and Val Smith park right across the street- there is plenty of space to explore and make everyday fun and unique!
Additionally, being part of a large campus-style setting provides special opportunities for both teachers and students. Teachers are able to take their classrooms throughout the building for a change of scenery and participate in special weekly visits with our senior living communities in intergenerational programming. Kids Country also participates in campus events like the annual Fourth of July parade!
