Job description

Overview

District Success Manager role focused on helping school districts implement Khan Academy products to support student learning. The position involves working with district leadership and educators, adapting customer success practices to an education context. The role is remote from the Eastern Time Zone/Southeast, with approximately 30% travel.

What You'll Do
  • Manage school district implementations with thoughtful leadership and guidance
  • Understand how to implement Khan Academy Districts, Khan Academy’s interim assessments, Khan Academy Kids, and Khan Academy Kids Pre-K assessments, and communicate this knowledge to district administrators and educators
  • Facilitate professional development sessions for teachers and administrators on effectively using Khan Academy
  • Support districts through the entire school year, including renewal of the district contract
  • Analyze district data to understand how to best support implementation and plan for district collaboration
  • Navigate complex discussions with empathy, identify nuanced needs, and facilitate change management to boost usage and satisfaction with Khan Academy products
  • Contribute to improvements of district success playbooks by testing ideas, measuring results, and collaborating with other district success managers
  • Document and pursue continuous learning using CRM and Project Management tools
  • Represent educator and student needs across the company
What You Bring
  • 2+ years of experience as a school administrator
  • 4+ years of classroom teaching experience
  • 2+ years of customer success, account management, or education-focused customer support experience
  • Strong problem-solving and creative thinking to help district partners find solutions
  • Deep understanding of teachers and school districts and a clear passion for education
  • Outstanding communication skills across multiple formats (email, documents, presentations, verbal)
  • Project management and prioritization experience with the ability to manage many district accounts concurrently
  • Strong data analysis skills, including creating visuals and telling a story with data
  • Motivation aligned with Khan Academy’s mission
  • Cross-cultural competency and commitment to inclusion and belonging
