Familiarity with digital audio workstations (DAWs), synthesizers, MIDI controllers, and music production software is typically required. Creativity, adaptability, and strong collaboration skills help a keyboardist stand out when performing with bands or producing music. Additionally, keyboardists may be expected to cover diverse musical styles and adapt quickly to changes during live performances or rehearsals, requiring strong technical skills and effective communication with the rest of the group.

What are keyboardists?
