Your role:

The IT Strategy Senior Manager plays a key role in shaping,evolvingand governing the IT strategy of the Southern Europe & Africa region, ensuring alignment between business priorities, technologyevolutionand Flutter Group strategic direction.

The role acts as a strategic integrator across IT Strategy, Enterprise Architecture,Innovationand key technology partners, supporting decision-making at executive level and translating strategicobjectivesinto actionable roadmaps and initiatives.

This position requires a broad strategic view, strong stakeholdermanagementand the ability to navigate complexity rather than deep hands-on execution on a single domain.

Whatyou'lldo:

IT Strategy & Roadmap

• Define,evolveand continuouslymonitorthe regional IT Strategy in alignment with businessobjectives, marketdynamicsand Flutter Group guidelines.

• Develop andmaintaina multi-year IT roadmap balancing innovation, sustainability, cost efficiency,securityand operational excellence.

• Ensure alignment and coordination with Enterprise Architecture, Factoryleadershipand Demand functions.
  

Group &VendorAlignment

• Act as the primary interface with Flutter Group IT Strategy and related governance forums.

• Coordinate with key technology vendors and partners to support strategic scouting,assessmentand roadmap execution.
  

StrategicInitiatives& Portfolio Support

• Support the definition and prioritization of strategic IT initiatives and transformation programs.

• Contribute to business cases, investmentevaluationand strategic trade-offs (TCO, ROI, value realization).
  

EmergingTechnologies & Innovation

• Lead the identification and evaluation of emerging technologies in collaboration with Enterprise Architecture and Innovation teams.

• Assess impact on IT blueprint, operatingmodeland business outcomes, ensuring long-term scalability and sustainability.
  

GenAIStrategy & Governance

• Oversee the structured scouting,evaluationand adoption of Generative AI solutions, supporting the Innovation Lab.

• Ensureappropriate governance, riskassessmentand lifecycle management, focusing on measurable productivity and business impact.
  

Business & Executive Stakeholder Management

• Partner with senior business and IT leaders to translate business needs into clear strategic directions and measurable IT outcomes.

• Support executive-level communication through clear narratives,presentationsand decision-support materials.
  

Capability & Culture

• Contribute to the development of strategic capabilities within IT, fostering a culture of collaboration,learningand continuous improvement.

Experience &Mindset

• Solid experience inIT Strategy, ITGovernanceor Technology Transformationroles within complex or international environments.

• Proven exposure toend-to-end IT strategy definition and evolution, even in matrix or federated organizations.

• Strong ability tooperateatexecutive and senior stakeholderlevel, influencing decisions rather than executing delivery.
  

Strategic &AnalyticalSkills

• Experience in technology evaluation, roadmapdefinitionand strategic prioritization.

• Familiarity with cost-benefit analysis, TCO/ROImodelingand value-driven decision frameworks.

• Ability to synthesize complexity into clear recommendations.
  

Frameworks & Domains (working knowledge)

• IT Governance & Management: ITIL,TBMor equivalent.

• Enterprise Architecture concepts and frameworks (e.g.TOGAF, ArchiMate - awareness level).

• Cloud strategy and architectural principles (AWS, Azure, OCI - awareness or advanced understanding).

• Data & Analytics: KPI definition, IT performance monitoring, reporting tools.

• GenAI: basic models, governance principles, lifecycle management, promptframeworksand AI risk assessment.
  

Communication

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English. Additionallanguages are a plus.

• Strong presentation and storytelling skills, especially for senior audiences.
