EECO is a full line electrical distributor that specializes in Industrial Automation and Power solutions that provide solutions to reduce costs, increase reliability, and improve performance. We are seeking a senior sales professional to assist us in supporting and growing sales in our OEM market as we expand our unique services. This position will work to develop new opportunities while providing a high level of support and service to our existing accounts in our Central Virginia Region. This role will report to the Regional Sales Manager and will be located out of EECO's Richmond, VA branch.

Position Summary:
The Central Virginia Key Account Manager is primarily responsible for our OEM account base and is directly responsible for business growth covering our entire range of product and service offerings. This position works with our Product Managers and our vendor partners to position EECO as the leading source for our customers through fact-based, value driven solutions, designed to meet customer business needs.
Position Responsibilities:
  • Leads solution development efforts addressing customer needs (from fact finding through proposal).
  • Develops sales strategies in alignment with Company objectives.
  • Establishes professional relationships in assigned customer accounts.
  • Coordinates the involvement of other company staff members to meet account performance objectives and customer expectations.
  • Maintains high customer satisfaction ratings.
  • Must be comfortable balancing multiple simultaneous projects in a potentially fast-paced, rapidly changing environment.
  • Requires a venturesome nature, working with others to solve problems. Will need to comfortably navigate conflict of ideas, opinions, and people.
  • Decisions will need to be made rapidly, with little background information. Requires tolerance for risky decisions.
  • Communication must be confident, direct, and poised. Ability to direct others and motivate them to take action.
  • Delegates strategies, details, and implementation freely in pursuit of goals. Leadership style is confident and flexible, providing strong direction and encouraging team participation.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering is preferred: however, will consider equivalent work experience in either the Electrical or Industrial/Manufacturing
  • Proven track record of success with B2B sales within the OEM market
  • Technical expertise in a broad range of industrial electrical components and systems preferred
  • Experience in electrical distribution
  • Ability to work in a variety of environments (outdoors and non-climate-controlled facilities)
  • Strong communication skills (both verbal and written)
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Ability to manage a high level of multi-tasking
  • Experience using and leveraging Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software
