BASIC FUNCTION:

The OEM Key Account Manager. will be responsible for driving sales growth of pump products through strategic engagement with existing OEM integrators and the development of new OEM relationships. This role requires a proactive, entrepreneurial mindset to identify new platforms, applications, and product opportunities that align with customer needs and market trends. The OEM Key Account Manager. will serve as the primary point of contact ensuring long-term customer satisfaction and sustainable revenue growth.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:

  • Account Management & Growth
    • Manage and grow sales with existing OEM integrators.
    • Develop account plans and strategies to increase share of wallet.
    • Build strong relationships across customer organizations, including engineering, procurement, and leadership.
  • New Business Development
    • Identify and engage new OEM integrators and strategic partners.
    • Prospect and qualify new opportunities across targeted verticals and applications.
    • Collaborate with internal teams to develop tailored solutions for new platforms.
  • Strategic Sales Execution
    • Understand customer applications and translate needs into pump solutions.
    • Lead technical and commercial discussions to position products effectively.
    • Work closely with product management and engineering to influence product development based on market feedback.
  • Market & Competitive Intelligence
    • Monitor industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging technologies.
    • Provide insights to leadership on market dynamics and growth opportunities.
  • Forecasting & Reporting
    • Maintain accurate sales forecasts and pipeline data.
    • Report regularly on account performance, opportunities, and risks.
  • Travel
    • Position requires approximately 15-20%
  • Other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in Industrial sales contract negotiation, whether directly or indirectly through integrators.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
  • Resilient, quick rebound time, high drive, collaborative, persistent.

Preferred Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in industrial sales, pumps, fluid handling, or OEM equipment preferred.
  • Proven track record of managing key accounts and driving new business.
  • Strong technical aptitude and ability to understand complex applications.
  • Experience working with Military OEM integrators in industries such as HVAC, water treatment, or rotating equipment.
  • Familiarity with pump technologies (centrifugal, positive displacement, wastewater, surface pumps, etc.).
  • Strategic thinker with a hands-on approach to execution.
