Position Overview

As a Key Account Manager (KAM) at Allegro Home Delivery, you will serve as the primary contact for a portfolio of strategic customers within defined regions and locations. This role is responsible for managing day-to-day customer relationships, driving account growth, and ensuring exceptional execution of final mile home delivery services in coordination with operational leadership.

You will act as the voice of the customer internally while collaborating closely with operations, customer service, and leadership teams to deliver a consistent, high-quality last-mile experience. This is a hands-on, customer-facing role ideal for individuals who thrive in fast-paced environments and are passionate about service excellence and continuous improvement.

How You Create Impact

Own Customer Relationships

  • Serve as the main point of contact for assigned key accounts within designated markets and locations.
  • Build strong, trust-based relationships with customer stakeholders at multiple levels.
  • Develop a deep understanding of customer delivery requirements, service expectations, and business objectives.
  • Conduct regular business reviews focused on performance, service levels, and continuous improvement.

Drive Account Growth & Retention

  • Identify opportunities to expand services within existing accounts, including new locations, services, or delivery solutions.
  • Support contract renewals, pricing discussions, and service enhancements.
  • Proactively address service issues and ensure timely resolutions to maintain customer satisfaction and retention.

Execute Account Plans

  • Develop and ensure implementation for account-specific growth and service plans aligned with customer goals and Allegro capabilities.
  • Translate customer needs into actionable initiatives for operations and support teams.
  • Monitor account performance and adjust strategies as needed to meet targets.

Partner with Operations

  • Work closely with local operations teams to ensure successful execution of final mile delivery services.
  • Support onboarding and launch of new business, including new locations or service lines.
  • Ensure alignment between customer expectations and operational capabilities.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance delivery performance, customer experience, and efficiency.

Performance Management & Reporting

  • Track and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) such as on-time delivery, service quality, claims, and customer satisfaction.
  • Maintain accurate account records, forecasts, and pipeline activity.
  • Lead performance discussions and implement corrective actions when needed.

  • 3-7+ years of experience in Key Account Management, Sales, Operations, or Logistics.
  • Experience in final mile, home delivery, transportation, or retail logistics preferred.
