Job description

Description:

Leverage your paralegal or attorney background in a whole new way. At Synergy, we help trial lawyers protect injury victims by simplifying the post-settlement process—from Medicare compliance to lien resolution. Now, we’re seeking a Key Account Manager who can bring real-world PI or subrogation experience to a dynamic, leadership-oriented role.

This isn’t sales. This isn’t onboarding. This is about owning the ongoing relationship with some of our most important clients—high-volume, high-impact personal injury law firms we call Integrated Partners. You'll be their strategic point of contact, overseeing service delivery, resolving escalations, and helping drive continuous improvement across departments.

If you're a paralegal or attorney, residing in Central Florida, who's ready to leave the casework grind behind and step into a role where your legal insight drives operational impact—this is your opportunity.

Requirements:

Who This is For:

  • A seasoned PI paralegal, former defense subrogation attorney, or lien resolution expert ready to transition into strategic operations
  • Someone who can confidently speak the language of attorneys and collaborate across legal, ops, and tech teams
  • A natural problem solver who takes pride in smoothing out processes and elevating the client experience

What You’ll Do:

1. Serve as the Operational Relationship Owner

  • Be the primary point of contact for a book of Integrated Clients (high-volume PI law firms)
  • Facilitate monthly/quarterly meetings and provide insight on trends, concerns, and opportunities
  • Proactively manage escalations, feedback loops, and cross-functional coordination

2. Monitor Performance & Advocate for Solutions

  • Review firm-specific metrics and ensure alignment with service expectations
  • Identify root causes of service issues and drive FLASH (our internal resolution system) improvements
  • Collaborate with Sales, IT, and Lien Ops to advocate for scalable improvements

3. Ensure Quality and Service Consistency

  • Conduct file reviews to assess service levels, track trends, and ensure process adherence
  • Contribute to leadership meetings, policy development, and internal training materials

What You Bring:

  • Bachelor’s degree required; JD or Paralegal Certification strongly preferred.
  • 5+ years of experience in personal injury law, healthcare subrogation, lien resolution, or a related field, with proven success managing attorney and client relationships.
  • Strong legal background preferred, ideally as a paralegal or attorney with exposure to PI, lien resolution, or subrogation.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to lead high-level client meetings and cross-functional internal discussions.
  • Professional, polished presence with a client-first mindset — skilled at building trust and long-term relationships with demanding firms.
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented; able to manage multiple clients, deadlines, and competing priorities without sacrificing quality.
  • Tech-savvy and adaptable, with proficiency in CRM platforms, workflow tools, Microsoft Office Suite, and comfort learning new technologies (including AI).
  • Problem-solving mindset with the ability to triage issues, drive resolution, and maintain alignment across teams and clients.
  • Growth-oriented professional eager to leverage legal expertise in a leadership role focused on client success and strategic relationship management.

Why Synergy?

We’re not your typical legal support company—we’re a mission-driven, tech-enabled BPO transforming the post-settlement process. Here’s what makes Synergy special:

Culture of Collaboration: We’re a tight-knit team that leads with empathy and supports one another to win together

Room to Grow:

  • Leadership development
  • Continuing education
  • Promotion opportunities for those who raise the bar

Benefits that Support Life:

  • Competitive compensation
  • Medical, dental, and vision coverage
  • 401(k) with company match
  • Generous PTO and paid holidays
  • Wellness initiatives and community impact opportunities

The Synergy Experience: A chance to contribute to a company that’s changing the game—for our clients, our partners, and the injured individuals they serve.

Salary Description: Base + variable performance bonus plan. Year 1 range: $75,000 - $95,000, depending on experience and performance.
